Amala Paul in Ram Gopal Vermas Bejawada Rowdeelu
Tamil actress Amala Paul, who starred in Chiyaan Vikram’s recently releaed ‘Nanna’, is likely to make into Telugu films soon. Buzz is that she has been roped in for the female lead role in Ram Gopal Varam’s forthcoming controversial film ‘Bejawada Rowdeelu’ starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. This will be her first straight Telugu film. She acted in Tamil and Malayalam films.

Mahesh babu and Venkatesh movie in Jan 2012
Earlier reported that Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh Babu are ready to share screen space in a multi starrer film. Now the latest news is that the big-ticket entertainer flick is set to commence shooting from January 2012.
Earlier Venkatesh was acted with the actors like Srikanth and with Kamal Haasan in Eenadu, but for the first time, he will be sharing screen footage with a reigning Telugu star Mahesh Babu.
Isha Chawla and Sunil to pair up
Max India Entertainments is producing a film with comedy star Sunil in the lead. It will be directed by Veerabhadram, the director of ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’. Noted producer K Achchi Reddy is producing it. Isha Chawla (of Prema Kavali fame) has been roped in for the female lead role. This will be her second film in Telugu. This yet to be titled film will be launched on 18th of this month. Regular shooting will begin from September 1. More details about the film will be revealed soon.
Prakash Jha to plead SC to remove ban on Aarakshan
Prakash Jha, noted film producer has decided to move Supreme Court on Friday to remove ban imposed on his movie ‘Aarakshan’ in certain states of India like Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab.
Further, the producer also stated that the ban imposed on ‘Aarakshan’ only points towards the restriction put on the process of having freedom of expression which has been granted by Constitution.
This issue has been fixed to be put up for hearing in the court at 2:00 pm today i.e. August 12th, 2011.
Jha has gone ahead and accepted to make certain modifications to the film mainly due to the concerns of certain political parties as per the information given by the producer in a press conference held in Mumbai on Friday.
Jeevas Next Movie is Roudram
Jeeva who has scored a hit in Tollywood with Rangam is yet again reaching the big screens with the film Roudram starring Shriya Saran as the female lead.
Produce RB Choudary says, “I’m happy that Rangam has become a big hit in which my son Jeeva acted. The film’s 100 days function will be held in August. We are dubbing another film Roudram starring Jeeva and Shriya. Roudram introduce three technicians, director Gokul, music director Prakash Nikki and cinematographer Shamugha Sundaram.”
Roudram is touted as an out and out commercial entertainer with a distinct storyline. The audio is likely to be launched in August. Prakash Raj, J P, Lakshmi Ramakrishna, Monika, Chaitanya Krishna, Ganesh Acharya et al will be seen in other supporting roles in Roudram.
