NTR signs a brand

NTR has finally endorsed a brand. That too for a record price! Industry circles say, the Zandu Balm, company has offered him a price that is hard to decline. Though several corporate companies earlier approached him for endorsements, he didn’t show interest. But with Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and Siddharth have accepted several brands, he has changed his mind and has signed the brand. He has already left for Mumbai to shoot for the brand’s commercial.

Balakrishna now does the role of 'Komaram Bheem'

Komaram Bheem is a revolutionary freedom fighter from Telangana region. In the wake of Telangana movement, Komaram Bheem became a favourite for film personalities. Pawan Kalyan tried to cash in on his name in his recently released dud - Komaram Puli . Then a film on his life released. Now, Balakrishna dons the great freedom personality’s role for brief scene in his current film, Parama Veera Chakra , being directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. His get up of Bheem appears in a song. The film’s music is expected to hit the market on December 28th and the movie releases on Sankranthi.

Kathi Kantha Rao, the full length comedy entertainer from EVV and Allari Naresh has interesting satires on many directors, politicians and cinema personalities. Essentially the character of Raghu Babu working as priest in the village of Vengalappaa Palem is named as Ram Gopal Sharma and the comedy goes ceaseless with him through out the movie.

Ramgopal Verma was hit with Eggs by students

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma was shocked as some miscreants threw eggs targeting him at a function in Vijayawada. This incident happened on Saturday (December 11, 2010) at Siddhartha Engineering College in Vijayawada where he was attending alumni meet of the college. Just as he is relaxing at the ceremony, some strangers threw eggs at him but luckily they didn't hit on him. Immediately Police rushed to him and arranged security to the star director.

RGV recently announced a film on the rowdy politics of the city and he also met some of the local leaders in the morning.
